High concept
“Teotl Rise of a God” is a 3D, 3rd person adventure/puzzle game where you will use your powers as the high god’s avatar in order to free the sun and the moon from their imprisonment
About the game
Teotl is a game project in which I worked on during my Junior year at Digipen in a team formed by 8 programmers and 3 artists
My main contributions to Teotl
- Developed the physics module with physics materials for our engine made from scratch
- Implemented the two different AI for enemies that appear in the game:
- Shooter enemy: An enemy that behaves as a turret
- Melee enemy: An enemy that patrols an area and attacks the enemy whenever the player is in range. It is also able to return to his path avoiding possible obstacles
- Programmed the magnetic power of the player as well as many other secondary gameplay features
